Hi there! My name is Melissa and I am the farm girl behind the food and lifestyle blog The Farm Girl Gabs® and this new venture Creative Blog Media. I’m a Jersey girl, born and bred, married to hard-working farmer Anthony and mom to Gabby – 20 and AJ – 16.
In my other life, I am a farm girl – a working farm girl. I live and work on our family’s 700-acre fruit and vegetable farm, in South Jersey, which was founded by my husband’s grandfather in 1940. We have two busy retail markets as well as a large wholesale operation. We grow a large variety of Jersey Fresh produce – pretty much everything from A – Z including corn, tomatoes, peaches, apples, pumpkins and string beans to name a few. We work hard and I am proud to say that our Jersey Fresh produce gets shipped all over the country. It’s Jersey Fresh at its BEST!
Prior to becoming “the farmer’s wife”, I graduated college with a degree in Communications. I worked in the healthcare Public Relations and Special Events field for 12 years. I really enjoyed it but jumped at the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom. I also have a slight obsession with anything Disney-related. Well, it’s a little more than a slight obsession. I love anything Disney -period! My family thinks I am a little “Disney” obsessed but it makes me happy, and life is about happiness. Right?

Creative Blog Media is a leap of faith for me. I have been a graphic design enthusiast way back when I used a Mac LC III for work. Remember them? That goes way back, but I promise I am not a dinosaur like my old trusty Apple Computer.
I am a self-taught graphic design enthusiast who loves to share tips and ideas with anyone who will listen, which is why I started this site. And hopefully that is why you are here. Stay tuned friends, I have lots of design, blogging and other fun stuff to share here at Creative Blog Media.
